Order Chat is a unique venture by moblers in collaboration with Skipper, created to revolutionize how people book tables at restaurants — anywhere in the world. What began as a localized chatbot on Facebook Messenger quickly evolved into a global restaurant reservation solution.
Behind the scenes, Order Chat is powered by a hybrid system: an AI chatbot on the front, and a smart voice-calling bot in the backend that contacts the restaurant and books the table — all without requiring integration with any restaurant system. This means users could tap a button today and be booking anywhere worldwide by tomorrow.
To enrich the experience further, the platform includes an intelligent AI engine that recommends similar restaurants based on user preferences, cuisine types, and previous selections — creating a personalized journey for every user.
The challenge
moblers addressed several technical and user experience challenges to ensure Order Chat would scale globally:
